Blackboard and Desire2Learn End Litigation

Blackboard had said it would appeal its patent battle against Desire2Learn all the way to the Supreme Court, but this week they settled without getting near the high court.


In a joint press release, they announced an agreement that ends the litigation that started three
years ago.  We won't find out much due to confidentiality agreements, but Blackboard's Ray Henderson posted some words about the decision to end the battle.
